Data AnalystLocation: Indianapolis, INJob Id: Start Date: 07/15/2024End Date: 12/31/2024Essential Functions:Leverages appropriate analytic tools (SQL, Tableau Prep, Tableau Desktop, R, GCP, others) to integrate, clean, and transform public health and healthcare data.Builds analyses and visualizations, dashboards using appropriate software (Tableau Desktop, R/Python, GCP, others) for a variety of purposes and audiences.Maintains, republishes, and enhances data products according to established cadences (e.g., daily, weekly, annually).Works collaboratively with business stakeholders and subject-matter experts to define and refine requirements.Documents detailed description of data cleaning steps, sources, filters, assumptions, and purposes.Maintains documentation related to data visualization processes, tools, and best practices while continuing to enhance existing processes and procedures.Proactively identifies and communicates data quality issues and addresses issues arising from data processing.Conducts other duties as requested/assigned.Communication to stakeholders both internal and external via email, PPT presentations as well as internal presentations.Job Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of experience and educationStrong data analysis skills in SQL, Tableau, R/Python, and Microsoft ExcelExperience working collaboratively with diverse groups and projects with defined timelinesStrong attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication skillsSelf-starterPreferred Qualifications:Preferred > 2 years' experience with Tableau and SQLFamiliarity with health/public health dataFlexibility to work on multiple projects/issues simultaneouslyKnowledge of relational databasesWordPress knowledgeArcGIS/working with geospatial dataSkills:Data Analysis - Required - 2 - YearsTableau - Required - 1 - YearsR/Python - Highly desired - 1 - YearsSQL - Required - 2 - YearsMicrosoft Suite, particularly Excel - Required - 2 - YearsArcGIS/ Geospatial data - Nice to have - 1 - YearsWordpress - Nice to have - 1 - YearsFamiliarity with Health/public health data - Highly desired - 1 - Years
