Dashboard Developer

Dashboard DeveloperThe Dashboard Developer must be able to design and develop data visualizations based on a strong understanding of common and fine-grained visualization challenges. The developer must lead data-driven decision making within a team, determining how to visualize data to address both exploratory data analysis and analytic presentation needs. The candidate must be able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Specific responsibilities include:Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and data visualizations to support financial analysis, procurement tracking, and resource allocationIntegrate and visualize data from multiple sources, including financial and acquisition systems (e.g., SQL, Excel, APIs)Lead data-driven decision making by determining how to visualize data to address exploratory data analysis and analytic presentation needsGather requirements from stakeholders and deliver actionable insights through well-designed dashboardsPerform Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to prepare and clean data for dashboard useConduct requirements gathering, data modeling, and KPI development to support business intelligence reportingValidate dashboard accuracy, conduct user acceptance testing, and troubleshoot issuesImplement user access controls and data security protocols in Tableau Server or Tableau OnlineDocument dashboard features, data sources, and maintenance procedures, and maintain dashboards for ongoing useRequirements:Required: Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and visualizationsBachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience from an accredited universityExperience working with databases, data warehouses, and integrating multiple data sources (e.g., SQL, Excel, APIs)Experience with business intelligence tools and reporting, including requirements gathering, data modeling, and KPI developmentExperience with ETL processes to prepare and clean data for dashboard useExperience collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver actionable insightsExperience validating dashboard accuracy, conducting user acceptance testing, and troubleshooting issuesExperience documenting dashboard features, data sources, and maintenance proceduresExperience implementing user access controls and data security protocols in Tableau Server or Tableau OnlineAbility to fluently read, write, speak, and understand the English languagePreferred: Experience developing acquisition and budget-related dashboards, including financial analysis, procurement tracking, and resource allocationExperience integrating and visualizing data from financial and acquisition systemsTableau certification(s), such as Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Data AnalystExperience with other business intelligence tools, such as Power BI or QlikDomain expertise in data science, statistical analysis, and data visualization
