This role will support the Press Secretary and communications team in shaping the candidate's public narrative through print, digital, and broadcast media. Candidates are not required to have prior communications experience, but they should note any relevant press or social media experience in their application.ResponsibilitiesCompiling daily press coverage relevant to the race, candidates, and priority issues.Developing first drafts of press materials — including media advisories, press releases, and social copy.Building and maintaining campaign press lists.Monitoring news and social media for rapid response opportunities.Supporting outreach to print, digital, and broadcast media for major press events.Brainstorming proactive media opportunities in digital or press channels.
