D365 FSC Finance, Senior Consultant

Job Responsibilities

• Lead finance-focused D365 client projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
• Work as a senior individual contributor and team member, collaborating with project teams and supporting junior consultants.
• Partner with client finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective D365 Finance solutions.
• Design and configure D365 Finance to support core accounting and financial processes such as General Ledger, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.
• Gather, document, and validate functional requirements; support system integrations, data migration, and customizations as needed.
• Apply strong accounting and financial systems knowledge to ensure accurate, compliant, and scalable solutions.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support user adoption through training, documentation, and post-implementation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience with Dynamics AX and/or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations.
• Strong experience with ERP systems, with a primary focus on Finance modules (e.g., General Ledger, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Financial Reporting).
• Preferred: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and/or related Microsoft certifications.

Compensation

• Colorado: $102,500 – $139,700
• Washington, Illinois, NewYork, Southern California: $112,800 – $153,700
• Northern California: $117,900 – $160,600
