A leading healthcare organization in South Carolina is seeking an experienced Cytotechnologist to join its laboratory team.
Position Highlights- Full-time opportunity
- Day shift schedule
- Work in a clinical laboratory setting
- Perform cytology screening and evaluation of patient specimens
- Experience with both gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology
- Review and evaluate cytology specimens for abnormalities
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established laboratory procedures
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities
- Collaborate with pathologists and other laboratory professionals
- Work in a team-focused environment committed to accurate and timely patient results
- 3+ years of Cytotechnology experience required
- Experience with both GYN and non-GYN cytology required
- Strong knowledge of cytology procedures, specimen preparation, and screening
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to recognize abnormal findings
- Strong understanding of laboratory quality standards and patient safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the laboratory and pathology team
