To support a growing laboratory team, the full-time remote Cytogenetics Technologist will perform chromosome analysis, including imaging and karyotyping of cytogenetic specimens, primarily focusing on constitutional blood cases. Key responsibilities: Analyze chromosomes for count, structural abnormalities, and morphology, preparing preliminary reports for interpretation Verify patient demographic information and ensure karyotypes match written diagnoses before director review Participate in proficiency testing and maintain records to demonstrate compliance with testing standards Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology At least 2 years of experience in a Cytogenetics clinical laboratory Minimum of 1 year of experience performing karyotyping Minimum of 1 year of experience in constitutional cytogenetics analysis
