To support daily laboratory operations remotely, the full-time Cytogenetics Technologist - CT will perform high-quality FISH analysis, conduct technical reviews, and coordinate workflow while ensuring excellence in quality and turnaround time. Key responsibilities Perform routine procedures including tissue culture, FISH processing, and automated karyotyping Determine specimen acceptability and report accurate test results in a timely manner Monitor and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, ensuring proper functionality Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology Certification by the National Credentialing Agency (NCA) in Cytogenetics (CLSp-CG) preferred At least 3 months of clinical laboratory testing experience in cytogenetics/FISH Understanding of laboratory operations and departmental Standard Operating Procedures Ability to work independently and in a team environment
