Cylinder HandlerLocation: Los Angeles, CA 90058 Duration: 3 Months Contract Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PMJob Overview: We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cylinder Handler to support warehouse and production operations. This role involves handling gas cylinders, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment. The work is routine and requires attention to safety and detail.Key Responsibilities:Handle high and low-pressure gas cylinders within the facilityLoad and unload cylinders from trucks and trailersSort empty cylinders and prepare them for refillingAssist production team in moving filled cylindersPerform cylinder maintenance such as painting, labeling, and cleaningInspect cylinders for damage or issues and report to managementTrack inventory including cylinder quantities, types, and productsPick and prepare items based on customer ordersAssist with shipping paperwork when neededMaintain a clean and safe work area at all timesRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum 1 year of warehouse or factory experienceAbility to perform basic math calculationsAbility to read and understand safety documents such as MSDS, OSHA, DOT, and FDABasic computer knowledgeGood communication and customer service skillsSelf-motivated and team-orientedPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift 25 to 75 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionallyMust not lift more than 45 lbs without assistanceAbility to stand for long hours up to 8 hoursFrequent bending, stooping, crouching, and repetitive workComfortable working in a non-air-conditioned and non-heated environmentWork Environment:Fast-paced warehouse environmentWork area is not temperature controlledRequires working with different teams and maintaining safety standards
