# CYFS RespiteMORRISVILLE, VT 05661## OverviewSalary Range$17.50 - $17.50 Hourly## Description## Position SummaryThe CYFS Respite Provider offers temporary, short-term care for children and youth receiving Children, Youth, and Family Services (CYFS). Respite services give parents, caregivers, and foster families a break from caregiving responsibilities while providing children with a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.## Essential Responsibilities* Provide safe and appropriate supervision for children and youth.* Engage children in age-appropriate activities at home or in the community.* Encourage positive social interactions and healthy development.* Follow each child's care plan and agency policies.* Communicate with caregivers and CYFS staff as needed.* Complete required documentation accurately and on time.* Report concerns or incidents promptly.* Attend required trainings and meetings.## Qualifications## Qualifications* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.* Experience working with children is preferred.* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.* Ability to pass required background checks.
