Cybersecurity Project ManagerLocation: New York, NY 10004 Duration: 2 years Contract Position First two week's onsite and then remote; however, flexibility is required to come into the office when required. At 2 Broadway in NYC primarily, or at JCC in Jamaica Queens upon request.10+ years' experience - PMP and/or Agile certification Requirements This position will manage and execute all aspects of cybersecurity projects in any one of the following specialties: systems/business analysis, development and implementation of applications in a cloud-based environment, and implementation of Identity Management products. Qualified candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in a related discipline, eight years' experience in the appropriate specialties and a minimum of two years' experience as a project manager (PMP and/or Agile certification is desirable).
Experience should include a sound understanding of technical issues, cybersecurity, and outstanding planning (experience in preparation of project plans a must), scheduling, implementation, and evaluation skills. Excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing with the user community and the technical staff is essential.Provide project management services on various cybersecurity application, cloud and management initiatives, focusing on timely delivery, governance, and risk management following standard frameworks and best practicesDefine project scope, goals and deliverables with detailed project plans and timelinesResponsible for monitoring project progress throughout the lifecycleLead and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews with cross-functional teamsCollaborate with Divisional Cybersecurity Office teams to ensure they have the information necessary to support their usersCollaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and leaders across multiple units to achieve strategic objectivesAnalyze cybersecurity reports for data integrity, trends, themes, and improvement opportunitiesPrepare materials for status reviews with business and IT leadershipMaintain library of cybersecurity templates and documentationGenerate and analyze data queries for risk management analysisProven solid background in project management frameworks, documentation, risk identification, problem assessment, vendor management, financial analysis, development of alternative solutions, cost/benefit analysis of alternative solutions and working with technical resources/vendorsAdditional Skills and Information: Extensive experience in Scrum and waterfall project management.
