Project Management ConsultantProject Management concepts and techniques and should have the skills to evaluate project feasibility, establish priority, and define, plan, and execute the activities necessary to reach project objectives. This role will serve as consultant, organizer, facilitator, planner, analyst, and problem solver.Key Responsibilities:Lead the successful delivery of multiple projects including managing resource inter-dependencies, scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, communications, and quality.Ensures all project team members understand the overall scope of each project, and their corresponding individual contributions.Ability to promptly resolve project issues and remove associated project delays by driving problem investigation, escalations, and resolution.Ability to assess user requirements, identify omissions and gaps, and design optimal solution.Provide accurate and timely project status updates to stakeholders to set expectations and ensure a high degree of project success.Proactively ensure risks are identified, communicated, and mitigated and that projects are delivered successfully through to production.Ensures all projects are managed against a project plan and viable schedule.Manage project activities through the effective use of project management principles and the specific methodologies adopted by the PMI and Agile methodology to achieve timely project completion and meet the defined project business objectives.Manage the vendor ecosystem, including the managing their contracts.Job Experience and skills:Minimum 3 years of experience in project or program management role, preferably with full development life cycle experiencePMP or Scrum Master certification preferredGaming or Hotel Industry IT Project Management experience preferredWorking with multiple vendors or point of contacts at a given timeExcellent at building relationships and creating a strong team environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills includingExcellent business facing communication especially with senior stakeholdersEffective communicator with partners across all technical levelsStrong management skills across internal partners and external vendorsTeam player with a willingness to jump in with a positive attitudeComfortable with a fast pace and the flexibility to navigate constant changeCreative thinking and seeking innovative solutions to complex technical/business problemsAbility to commute/relocate:Las Vegas, NV: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
