Onsite Full Time IT & Technology

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical discovery & solution design: Lead technical discovery and scoping conversations with prospective and existing customers. Translate business requirements into solution architectures across the team's portfolio — MXDR, EDR/XDR, SASE/ZTNA, email security, SSPM/DSPM, password management, brand protection, and security awareness training.
  • Proof of concept & demonstrations: Plan, set up, and lead customer proofs of concept and product demonstrations across the team's vendor stack. Define success criteria, run evaluations, and convert outcomes into proposal-ready findings — including bilingual (JP/EN) walkthroughs where required.
  • Technical proposals & scoping: Produce architecture diagrams, bills of materials, technical scope documents, assumptions, and high-level effort estimates supporting proposals and Statements of Work. Contribute technical content to RFI / RFP responses and customer-facing quote conditions.
  • Vendor & partner technical engagement: Maintain working-level technical relationships with strategic vendor sales-engineering counterparts. Stay current on product roadmaps, new features, and competitive positioning, and conduct comparative evaluations for new service offerings (e.g., DSPM, ASM, AI security).
  • Pre-sales to delivery handover: Ensure clean technical handover from pre-sales to the Delivery / Architect team — including scope, assumptions, customer expectations, and known risks. Participate in kickoff sessions and remain available for technical clarification through early delivery phases.
  • Account & territory support: Serve as a primary pre-sales technical resource for accounts in the New York region — with emphasis on Japanese-headquartered financial institutions, trading companies, and insurers — while also supporting customers in other US regions as needed. Bring NYDFS Part 500, FFIEC, and SOX IT context into scoping and solution design for regulated customers.
  • Sales enablement: Build and maintain reusable solution templates, reference architectures, and pre-sales collateral. Conduct enablement sessions and product walkthroughs for the broader KDDI America sales organization, and support account planning by mapping customer environments to KAM's service offerings.
  • Practice contribution: Feed recurring pre-sales gaps, customer objections, and lost-deal technical reasons back into service improvement and roadmap discussions. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the maturation of the team's pre-sales methodology.
