Cybersecurity Detection Analyst

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Detection and Response Analyst will monitor and respond to security alerts within a 24/7 Cyber Fusion Center, conducting in-depth analyses of security events to prevent and mitigate cyberattacks. Key responsibilities Provide monitoring and detection/response services, working various 10-hour shifts, including weekends Leverage SIEM tools to query logs, correlate data, and detect security incidents Support incident response efforts and conduct threat hunting activities based on threat intelligence Required qualifications At least 3 years of cybersecurity experience focused on Incident Detection and Response BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent work experience Experience with enterprise-level security technologies, including SIEM and ticketing systems Security certifications such as Security+, CYSA+, or equivalent Experience supporting large-scale incident investigations and collaborating with various cybersecurity teams
