Senior Vulnerability Management AnalystThe Senior Vulnerability Management Analyst blends technical and security expertise, collaborating with SMEs to harden and define approved security configurations for various platforms, both on-prem and in the cloud, with the primary focus being AWS.Skillset and Experience:Minimum of 5 years related work experience required, with 2 years’ experience in hardening/configuration managementStrong knowledge of AWSUndergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experienceSelf-starter and a problem-solver with a technical backgroundUnderstanding of info security and vulnerability analysisExperience with risk controls and interacting with internal/external auditExperience with scriptingGeneral knowledge of Windows or Linux servers & related security configurationsVulnerability Management, Security Assurance, or DevSecOps experience1. Working knowledge of security risk oversight, CVSS (Common Vulnerability Scoring System), CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures), and technical security vulnerability remediation/mitigation2. Practical experience analyzing cloud infrastructure vulnerability data to understand and communicate risks, concerns and outcomes of decisions3.
Extensive experience working with AWS EC2s or Azure VMs, as well as Container (Kubernetes) and image security scanning4.
