Cyber Testing AnalystThe cyber testing analyst will be primarily responsible for scheduling, executing, and measuring the success of scheduled tests against blue team operations. Tests will be designed to test the detect and response functions for quality and accuracy. A successful candidate will have a strong fundamental understanding of red/blue/purple team functions, and hands-on experience working in some facet of blue team operations (SOC analyst, security engineer, etc.).
They should also have a knack for figuring out, that which is not Googleable.Location: Boston, MA; Holmdel, NJ; or Wyomissing, PADuration: 6+ MonthsRequired Experience:Real world experience in an enterprise security operations setting.Core understanding of the nuances between red, blue, and purple teams.Technical competency with internetworking and operating system concepts.Hands on experience as a System Admin (Linux or Windows).Hands on experience using Splunk.Ability to work autonomously.Experience reviewing logs to troubleshoot operational issues or analyze potential security concerns.Ability to clearly document observations in a concise and professional manner.Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role):Strong organizational and communication skills.Experience with scripting languages (bash, PowerShell, python).Autonomous / self-motivated.Nice-to-Haves:Scripting with PoSH, Python, Bash.Spanish is nice but definitely not necessary (English is what is mandatory).
