Cyber Security Engineer

Role: Cyber Security Engineer

Location: Springfield, VA Onsite

Clearance: Active TS/SCI; ability to obtain a Polygraph

Experience: Bachelor's degree and/or 6+ years of cybersecurity experience

Certifications: DoD / DoD -M IAT Level II and CSSP Incident Responder

Key Responsibilities:

• Support cyber incident response, investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery activities.
• Perform digital media analysis, malware analysis, reverse engineering, and system artifact analysis.
• Develop indicators of compromise (IOCs), signatures, timelines, incident reports, and briefings.
• Support C-IRT operations and Defensive Cyberspace Operations.
• Develop and execute authorized scripts and tools for incident investigation and response.
• Coordinate with CSOC Tier 1/2 teams and other relevant stakeholders.
• Document incident activity, analysis, and recommendations through authorized reporting systems.

A Master's degree and IAT III certification would be a plus.
