Cyber Risk Manager
We are seeking a Cyber Risk Manager to support and expand the existing Information Security team. The role will take a lead in assessing risks, delivering a second line assurance program, and managing third‑party cyber risks. The candidate must work independently, prioritize effectively, and communicate complex issues to non‑technical stakeholders. Opportunities to collaborate with subject matter experts across security, infrastructure, network, development, and business teams are available.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight of Cyber Security risk management, and maintain governance within the company’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- Manage cyber risk‑related program activities, ensuring effective collaboration within the team and with technology, business, and other stakeholder groups.
- Maintain the cyber‑risk register, control catalogue, and framework mappings, ensuring controls and policy documentation align and clearly articulate cyber risks to key stakeholders.
- Maintain and embed an Information Security Policy and management framework across the company, addressing the needs of staff and stakeholders in line with relevant legislation and industry standards.
- Own the end‑to‑end process for cyber security policy & standards creation, management, review, and ensure they incorporate regulatory and other requirements.
- Own the 3rd party Cyber Risk Assessments for vendor engagements to ensure information and cyber security risks through third‑party suppliers are identified and managed appropriately.
- Support various internal and external cyber security audit and regulatory exams.
- Manage related metrics, KPIs and performance indicators and provide regular updates to senior management, auditors, regulators, and risk management.
- Mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
- 10 or more years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of technology and cyber risks, and experience working and collaborating with cross‑functional teams leading risk management programs.
- Knowledge of common frameworks and standards such as NIST, CIS, ISO.
- Knowledge and experience of key legal and regulatory compliance, e.g., GDPR, RegSCI.
- Technical as well as policy management experience preferred, with wide experience across multiple cyber security areas.
- Project planning, management, and delivery skills within the context of a broader cyber security program.
- Financial services experience is preferable, or experience in the financial technology (FinTech) area.
- Ideally hold, or be working toward, a CISM, CISSP, or CRISC qualification.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical and non‑technical concepts in verbal products and excellent writing skills.
- Excellent project management skills and experience.

- The current pay range for this role is $250,000 to $280,000 per year, based on a regular, full‑time schedule. Pay will be determined by qualifications, market data, and internal guidelines.

- This role is expected to remain open until 7/31/26.
