Cyber Risk Defense Principal

To enhance cyber threat detection and compliance, the full-time Cyber Risk Defense Principal will develop advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk platform, manage security data integrity, and lead proactive threat monitoring efforts while working remotely. Key responsibilities Drives execution of multiple work streams by developing procedures, translating business strategy into actionable requirements, and guiding performance Leads team in monitoring and responding to emerging threats, providing consultation to Cyber Risk Defense Center teams, and facilitating remediation efforts Serves as a subject matter expert in complex data analyses, coordinating responses to critical cyber security incidents and influencing strategic direction for threat detection capabilities Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including at least four (4) years in information security or network engineering Minimum four (4) years in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and algorithms such as Random Forest and XGBoost Experience developing and maintaining anomaly detection models on Unix-based systems using Python
