We are seeking a Cyber Recovery Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of onboarding applications to a cloud-based resilience pod.
This role is critical to enhancing the organization’s cyber resilience and reducing risk exposure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity project management, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex programs, and deliver results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership and Delivery
- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and monitoring of application onboarding projects.
- Oversee strategy development, requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders.
Application Onboarding
- Manage the onboarding of applications and data objects to cloud resilience platforms.
- Oversee validation, automation, and integration testing processes.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with cybersecurity initiatives.
- Integrate risk management practices into project planning and execution.
Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management
- Act as the primary liaison for cybersecurity projects, engaging with business leaders, IT teams, compliance, and vendors.
- Lead change management efforts including user training, documentation, and communication planning.
Resource and Budget Management
- Develop and manage project budgets, allocate resources, and track expenditures.
- Report on financials and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or certifications such as PMP, CISSP.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including 6+ years in IT and 4+ years in cybersecurity project management.
- Proven leadership in managing large-scale, cross-functional cybersecurity projects.
Skills
- Expertise in cybersecurity portfolio and program management.
- Strong knowledge of the NIST/NICE framework.
- Ability to adapt in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on continuous improvement.
