Supporting 24x7 operations in a large Federal agency Cyber Security Operations Center, the Associate Cyber Operations Analyst will focus on advanced cyber threat monitoring and detection, incident analysis and management, while leveraging AI/ML and automation to enhance SOC efficiency in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Support monitoring, detection, and management of advanced cyber threats Execute operational processes for response efforts to identified security incidents Analyze threat intelligence and perform incident analysis to assess risk and adapt defenses Required qualifications BA/BS in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience with 1+ years in cybersecurity and SOC operations Experience in cyber/IT security with at least 1 year in IT and/or SOC operations Familiarity with AI/ML capabilities and their application to cyber analysis Hands-on experience with cybersecurity automation and SIEM/SOAR platforms Understanding of control frameworks, risk management techniques, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
