In this role, you will develop advanced tools, prototypes, and mission-focused capabilities for tactical teams performing incident response, computer network operations, and computer network exploitation. You will research emerging technologies, cyber techniques, vulnerabilities, and threat actor methodologies to deliver innovative solutions that address unique challenges posed by criminal and national security actors.This position requires expertise in both offensive and defensive cybersecurity tools, network topologies, secured network environments, and open-source penetration testing tools. The scope of work includes software engineering and development at both the user and kernel levels; configuring and managing complex network environments; supporting covert and virtualized systems; conducting vulnerability research and analysis; and developing secure, operationally relevant capabilities for mission-critical technical operations.Key Responsibilities:Build and test operational prototypes for tactical teams responding to sophisticated cyber threatsConduct analysis of case and intelligence related cyber data to develop advanced analytical toolsConfigure and manage complex routing and switching fabrics with significant segmentation, including managed attribution of individual network pathsSet up and maintain firewall, VPN, proxy, and tunnel configurations for secure operationsImplement and manage data ingest pipelines through network diodes for secure data transferAdminister high availability virtualized environments with complex networking configurationsPerform research of novel capabilities derived from technical analysisResearch emerging technologies, exploitation techniques, and custom toolsPerform reverse engineering of cyber actor tools and techniques to advance defensesConduct vulnerability research against host endpoints and service targetsImplement secure development practices for sensitive operational toolsCreate and manage CI/CD pipelines and git version control systems for rapid deploymentSupport systems integration for operationsThis position requires an active Top Secret (TS) clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access with a CI polygraph.
