Please review the job description below.Key Responsibilities:To support the Data Management and Data Engineering practice in Client Business Intelligence teamKey rolesUnderstand statistical and probabilistic models built by the analytic teamsImplement the models in a standardized scalable method simplifying the user experience for model users, developers and ownersDevelop re-usable generic calculation libraries/packagesAssist in adoption of dev ops standards and productionalized analytics in the teamPerform root cause analysis on data and logic issues in the data management layerPropose solutions and help resolve issuesDocument requirements and solution/technical architecturePerform impact analysis to the data environment based on changes made in upstream applicationsWork closely with BI, IDS, Model development teams and BusinessKey Requirements and Technology Experience:Computer science background (experience and/or education)Strong programming skills in advanced SQL, Python, SparkExperience using distributed computed platforms Hadoop, AWS EMRFoundation in using DevOps standards Linux shell, JIRA, GITExperience with Tableau/Power BI, Excel or OBIEEExperience using Informatica and Netezza stored proceduresDocumentation skillsWeb development and Javascript knowledge a plusKnowledge of Java, Golang or SASKnowledge of streaming and KubernetesKnowledge of Cloud databasesOur client is a leading Banking & Financial Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
