What You'll Do:
- Assist in perioperative procedures for complex cardiovascular surgeries, including cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases
- Prepare surgical pump lines from perfusion systems for cannulation and other procedures
- Support surgeons during procedures like Aneurysm Repair, CABG, Valve Replacement, TAVR, and Transplant surgeries
- Ensure sterility and proper functioning of surgical instruments and equipment
- Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate smooth, efficient operations
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with hospital standards
- Complete required documentation and ensure quality patient care throughout procedures
What You Need:
- NBSTSA Certification (Certified Surgical Technologist or equivalent)
- BCLS Certification
- At least 2 years of surgical experience, specifically with Level 1 Trauma Centers and complex cardiac/thoracic surgeries
- Experience with vascular, thoracic, and robotic-assisted procedures
Preferred:
- Previous experience with transcatheter procedures like TAVR or EVAR
- Ability to work call shifts (90-120 hours over 6 weeks)
- Level 1 Trauma experience (preferred for first-time travelers)
