- Support cardiovascular surgeries, including heart and lung transplants
- Assist surgical teams during complex CVOR procedures
- Ensure proper setup and sterilization of surgical instruments
- Maintain sterile field and assist with intraoperative procedures
- Collaborate with surgical staff to ensure smooth case flow
- Comply with all safety and procedural protocols
- Document procedures accurately using Cerner charting system
Required:
- NBSTA certification in CVOR or equivalent (must be in hand)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience, including heart/lung transplant cases
- Ability to work full weekends as scheduled
- Flexibility with holiday scheduling (must work 2/3 major holidays)
- Prior experience with transplant or complex CV procedures
- Experience with Cerner charting system
