Job Summary and Qualifications
Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions.
Shift and Call Requirements
- Shifts: Several options available. 6am-4pm, 730am-530pm, 6am-2pm or 730am-330pm
- Call: 8 call shifts and one weekend every 6 weeks. Must be within 30 min. to facility if called back in.
Qualifications
- Required Experience: 1+ years of nursing and/or CVOR/OR experience
- Required Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
- Preferred Education: Master’s in Nursing.
- Preferred Certification: National Certification in area of specialty.
- Required License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON.
- Required Certification: BLS and ACLS.
