CVOR - On Call RN

Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care with surgical team in collaboration with other departments. Position Details: Mercy Cardiovascular Operating Room -Seeking Experienced CVOR RNs! RN II- On Call Nights, 7pm-7am (3 x12's) or 9pm-7am (4 x 10's)

Salaried RN Position!

Join Mercy's Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team at a Level I STEMI and Trauma Center.

Mercy's CVOR provides advanced surgical care for adult patients across six operating rooms, including a hybrid OR and a peripheral vascular lab. Nurses on this team support both Cardiothoracic Surgery and Vascular Surgery , working alongside highly specialized surgeons performing:

• Open heart and vascular procedures
• Minimally invasive surgeries
• Robotic cardiothoracic procedures
• Vascular interventions and complex vascular surgeries

This position will be compensated as an exempt salaried role , based on 40 hours per week . As an exempt position, the employee will not be eligible for overtime compensation , regardless of the number of hours worked while responding to call.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide 60 hours of on-call coverage per week according to a mutually agreed-upon schedule.

The employee will receive the established 40-hour weekly salary only , regardless of the frequency or duration of call-ins during the assigned on-call period.

While on call, the employee must:

• Remain available and capable of responding when contacted.
• Report to the facility within 30 minutes of receiving a call to work.
• Maintain compliance with all departmental and organizational on-call expectations.

This position is designed to provide consistent after-hours coverage and requires the flexibility to respond promptly to operational and patient care needs.

Required Education:

• Nursing degree from an accredited school

License:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri

Certifications:

• BLS required
