Information for Assignment #
- Texas License required
- Graduate of an accredited Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Seeking candidates with a minimum of 1-2 years of cardiothoracic or cardiovascular surgery experience
- Vein Harvesting not required
- Monday-Friday, typically 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Weekday call approximately once per week; Weekend call every 4th or 5th weekend
- Surgical: Serve as First Assist in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical procedures
- Preoperative and postoperative patient management
- 1-2 cardiovascular surgery cases per day, depending on call coverage
- EMR: Epic
- Support: Travel, lodging, and premium malpractice insurance coverage provided for the duration of the assignment
