CV Anesthesiologist

Sound Anesthesia is seeking a skilled CV Anesthesiologist to join the established team at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital Pensacola. In this unique role, you will cover cardiothoracic cases and general OR duties while collaborating closely with local physicians and CRNAs at a Level I trauma center. • Strong collaboration between all physicians and CRNAs on the team
• Sacred Heart Pensacola is a Level I trauma center offering general, OB/GYN, pediatrics, ortho, cath lab, neuro, and vascular surgeries
• Low CV volume at the facility, consisting of cath lab, TEEs, structured hearts, mitral clippings, and TAVRs
• Multiple providers in house over night including (2) dedicated OB CRNAs

Responsibilities

• CV-capable physician will work with a CV CRNA team to cover all cardiothoracic cases during the day
• Cover the main OR if a heart is not running

Compensation

• Robust compensation package with guaranteed base salary and opportunity to maximize income
• W2 and 1099 options available, your choice
• $100,000 commencement bonus

Shift & Schedule

• A unique 26-week position where you are covering day shifts during the Monday through Friday work week + (2) 8-hour day shifts on the weekend you are on
• No in-house night call or 2nd call main OR expectations
• Will only be responsible for CV call at night
• Week on / week off schedule rotation

Requirements

• Completion of a US Residency
• Board certification in Anesthesia
• Must be CV-capable with current experience; fellowship and TEE certification is not required
• Active FL license
• Authorized to work in the United States
