We take pride in fostering a safe environment for all employees in our climate-controlled plants.Summary: The Cutter Operator I is responsible for the setup, adjustment, and safe operation of all cutting equipment to prepare product to be packed, collated, or bound, ensuring the meeting of customer specifications, in accordance with company policies and procedures.Schedule: 3rd shift, Monday-Friday, eight or more hours per day, five or more days per week based on business needs.

Primary schedule will be 10:00 pm – 6:00 AM, or similar. This is an on-site position requiring the employee to be present physically.Salary Range: $17.00 To 19.00 HourlyCompensation commensurate with experience.At this time, we are not engaging with agencies or third-party recruiters. Thank you for your understanding.Maintain and operate batching system to ensure the completion of assignmentsIdentify priority jobs to be completedReview job tickets and strategically plan work processes to meet customer specifications for custom jobsTroubleshoot machines, if possible, to resolve any problems and/or notify production managementReplace worn cutting blades with hand tools, as requiredSet up job assignment specifications, obtain approval and run product once authorized by supervisor or Plant ManagerMonitor apparatus during run, adjust as needed to ensure adherence to specification including operating speedComplete and process all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area(s)Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environmentAssist in cultivating an interdependent safety culture by reporting workplace hazards, related injuries, illnesses and/or near misses to management immediatelyAttend all department/company meetingsOther duties as assignedFor an extensive list of responsibilities, duties and physical demands/work environment please refer to the attached Job Description.QualificationsEDUCATION, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES:High School Diploma or GED equivalency; or one-year related experience with Polar or Saber cutting machines in a manufacturing environment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferredCRITICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:Ability to read and comprehend job assignment tickets and customer instructional specificationsBasic computer knowledgeEffectively communicate with all members of the organizationExcellent attention to detailQuality, production, and team orientedMechanically inclinedAbility to adapt to schedule changes based on the needs of productionAbility to cross train and work in other departments and/or machines4over Company History:4over was founded in February of 2001.
