Customized Solutions CNC Operator | 2nd Shift

Customized Solutions CNC OperatorThe Customized Solutions CNC Operator reviews and prepares drawings for production, operates CNC equipment, and ensures products meet quality and engineering specifications. This role partners with Engineering, Sales, and Operations to deliver safe, accurate, and efficient manufacturing results while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Review and validate drawings, work orders, and job packetsConvert approved drawings into CNC machine softwareOperate CNC equipment to produce parts to specificationPerform quality inspections using precision measuring toolsLoad, stage, and organize materials for production runsComplete routine cleaning and preventive maintenance tasksCollaborate across teams to resolve production issues and improve processesRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprintsProficiency with computers and production softwareAbility to use precision measuring instrumentsForklift experiencePreferred Qualifications:Technical trainingCNC machining, manufacturing, or custom fabrication experienceExperience operating Steinhauer or similar CNC experienceFamiliarity with machining math and CNC programming conceptsPhysical Requirements:Frequently standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching throughout the shiftFrequent use of hands, fingers, and fine motor skillsFrequently lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materialsConsistently lifting up to 50lbs and occasionally 75lbsAbility to hear machine alarms, warnings, and verbal communicationsFrequent use of near and far vision, depth perception, and color recognition for quality and safety purposesWorking Conditions:Primarily works in an indoor manufacturing environmentFrequent exposure to noise, vibration, dust, and moving equipmentOccasional exposure to temperature fluctuations, fumes, and outdoor conditionsRequires adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirementsMay work independently or collaboratively with team membersVan Meter is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to qualified individuals with disabilities.
