Customs Brokerage Manager – Import Manager (Hybrid)
Fife, WA
Hybrid Schedule (Mon-Thu Onsite | Fri Remote)
We are seeking an experienced Customs Brokerage Manager to lead import brokerage operations and manage a team of customs professionals in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Requirements:
5+ years of customs brokerage/import experience
3+ years of leadership experience in a brokerage environment
Customs Broker License (CHB) or CCS Certification required
Strong knowledge of import regulations and customs procedures
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPs)
Process improvement and team management experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop brokerage team members
- Oversee import clearance operations and customer service activities
- Ensure compliance, billing accuracy, and operational efficiency
- Manage training, workload distribution, and performance reviews
- Resolve operational challenges and support customer needs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
