General Cleaner
Performs custodial work in offices, warehouses, industrial areas, and other building interiors.
Typical tasks performed include a combination of the following:
- Sanitizing restrooms, empties trash, sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, and vacuum cleans and spot cleans carpets.
- Dusts and spot clean walls and polish all stainless steel i.e. water fountains fixtures. Dust blinds. Dust cabinets, furniture, partitions and desk tops.
- May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, walls, upholstery and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions. May also sweep walk ways.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Specific duties include:
- Set up carts & brut barrels; reline brut barrels with small & large liners.
- Pull trash from offices change liners, wipe desk tops as you pull your trash
- Vacuum all offices and close doors after areas are done (able to lift 45 lbs)
- Detail section each night
- Restroom cleaning
- Set cart-up replenish supplies
- Replenish, toilet tissue
- Empty trash (including sanitary boxes)
- Toilet, urinals, sinks, clean thoroughly
- Clean all walls by wiping
- Wipe clean all stainless steel
- Sweep floor under toilets urinals
- Wet mop floor
- Use air freshener
- Restock cart for next day
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to handle difficult situations and persons in a positive and professional manner.
- Must be able to follow directions
- Must be reliable and responsible.
- Must be able to mix solutions correctly
- Must be able to report to work on time and work scheduled shift.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
