Office Cleaning Position
Cleans and keeps in an orderly condition office working areas and washrooms. Duties involve a combination of the following: sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and polishing floors; removing trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; providing supplies and minor maintenance services; and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms.
Essential Functions And Major Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms offices using established practices and procedure.
Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; refill restroom dispensers, etc.
Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Use as directed.
Move furniture, equipment, supplies and tools on an incidental basis.
Wash accessible interior and exterior windows.
Responsible for monitoring inventory, cleaning supplies and paper products, for specific assigned work areas; re-supply when needed.
Understand and demonstrate the proper use of safety practices & ensure standards are maintained for the department.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established company policies and procedures.
Accomplishes organization mission by completing related assignments as needed.
Qualifications And Special Skills Required:
Must be able to take and follow directions.
Must be able to identify and understand chemicals.
Must have knowledge of custodial equipment.
9am-2pm Monday-Friday 25 hours week
