Custodian
Locations: Oak Ridge Early Learning Center (.5), Sartell High School (.5) Hours: 8 hr/day, 260 days per year (Year Round Position) Schedule: 2:00pm - 10:30pm (Monday - Friday). *Hours may vary during summer and school breaks Salary: Range III, SEIU Local 284 contract (starting $20.13/hour) Job Summary: To provide a safe and clean environment for students, staff, and the public. Point of contact for community groups and other public entities in the evening/weekend during events in the assigned building. Duties and Responsibilities: The custodian will be responsible for cleaning classrooms, common areas, hallways and bathrooms. This includes, but is not limited to, vacuuming, removing garbage, shampooing carpets, scrubbing floors and seasonal stripping and waxing of floors. Serves as the main point of contact for any issues/problems in the absence of the Head Custodian. The custodian will also be responsible to perform minor maintenance in classrooms, common areas, hallways and bathrooms. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED * Able to lift up to 10 pounds continuously, 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally * Able to walk continuously and stand frequently Posting closes: internally 8/19/26, externally open until filled Final job offer is contingent upon a criminal background check and board approval.
