Reports To: Manager of Facilities
Employment Type: Part Time- 25 hours per week. Monday-Friday, AM Shifts

What You'll Do:
As a Custodian, you'll work closely with the Manager of Facility Services to maintain our agency's facilities and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for children, families, staff, and visitors.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Performing general building maintenance and repairs
  • Coordinating or completing repairs to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, sprinkler, and other building systems
  • Maintaining the interior and exterior of agency buildings, including restrooms, common areas, floors, and grounds
  • Responding to maintenance requests such as changing light fixtures, replacing switches, moving furniture, landscaping, power washing, and general repairs
  • Assisting with preventative maintenance to keep facilities operating efficiently
  • Maintaining agency equipment and vehicles, as assigned, and ensuring maintenance supplies are stocked
  • Responding during inclement weather in accordance with agency procedures
  • Working collaboratively with the Facilities team and other departments to support agency operations
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities
  • Promoting a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone we serve
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
What You Bring:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
  • Knowledge of general building maintenance, safety practices, and basic first aid
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation to travel between agency locations
  • Ability to successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings, including criminal background, medical clearances, and immunization requirements
