Custodian Position
Hollis School District is seeking a custodian for Hollis Primary School and Hollis Upper Elementary School. The position requires 8 hours per night, 5 nights per week. Responsibilities include general cleaning and supply stocking for classrooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, corridors, etc.; function set up/breakdown; coverage for weekend events; snow shoveling/removal; special projects as assigned; other related duties. Scheduled for evening shifts (generally 2pm - 10:30pm).
Minimum requirements include the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and moving heavy objects, shoveling snow, etc.; ability to operate cleaning equipment; passing a State and Federal criminal background check; having a valid driver's license; and a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in the use of personal computers and other modern office equipment is also required.
