Custodian

Cardinal is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Custodians to join our team at the Jefferson Lab in Newport News. We are hiring for both part-time day and night shifts: Day Shift: 12:00 pm– 4:00 pm (Monday–Friday) Night Shift: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm (Monday–Friday) What We Offer Competitive pay: $22.84/hr 11 paid holidays 2 weeks of vacation after 1 year Supportive team environment Opportunity to work in a secure, professional facility Responsibilities: You will work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks including: • General office and restroom cleaning • Trash collection and disposal • Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming • Performing a variety of additional custodial tasks as needed Qualifications: • Prior custodial experience required • Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license • Ability to pass a government background check • Must meet Jefferson Lab training requirements • HUBZone residency is a plus Compensation: $22.84 per hour
