Custodian/Maintenance - Full Time
Join Our Team as a Custodian/Maintenance Team Member – Western Row Campus! Are you someone who takes pride in creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments? Warren County ESC is seeking a dedicated Custodian/Maintenance Team Member to help maintain our Western Row location for the benefit of our students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and install school equipment, furnishings, and property as assigned by the Building Principal.
- Perform snow and ice removal to ensure safe access to school facilities during winter weather.
- Maintain the exterior of the campus, including lawns, landscaping, shrubs, trees, sidewalks, and parking areas.
- Keep interior facilities clean and well-maintained, including classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, common areas, and carpets.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling on a daily basis.
- Order and maintain an adequate inventory of custodial supplies, equipment, and materials through the Building Principal.
- Demonstrate dependable attendance and maintain a consistent work schedule.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Building Principal.
Qualifications & Expectations:
- Maintain a workplace free from the use or abuse of alcohol and non-prescribed controlled substances throughout employment with Warren County ESC and/or the assigned school district.
- Follow all Warren County ESC and participating school district Risk Reduction Safety Rules and Regulations, as well as all applicable local, state, federal, and OSHA safety requirements.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety, recognizing that compliance with safety standards is an important component of job performance and employee evaluations.
