Custodial Position
Litchfield High School is now hiring for a custodial position. Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm Starting wage is $19.76 per hour effective July 1, 2026. Position Details 12 month position Competitive benefits: Health, Dental and Life insurance, LTD, Paid time off, 12 paid holidays each year.
Job Description:
- Sweep classrooms, hallways, gym and cafeteria
- Vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas
- Mop floors
- Clean and mop restrooms
- Empty waste baskets
- Clean windows
- Clean classroom sinks, fill paper towels
- Scrub floors & shampoo carpets
- Set up and take down for activities
- Secure/lock up building at night
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Experience in operating general cleaning equipment
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Able to perform essential job functions such as lifting, bending and standing
- Take direction and maintain a level of professionalism at all time
