Performs a variety of routine duties such as cleaning floors, windows, fixtures, stairs, restrooms and doors. Custodian must know the regulations on safety measures.
Able to recognize cleaning agent/materials. Operate floor machines (buffers, carpet extractors, vacuum cleaners, etc.) Maintain orderly appearance in all storage areas. Responsible for appearance/cleanliness of specified areas. Must be able to lift, push, or pull 25-50 lbs. Flexibility in work schedule and may be required to work evening and weekend hours.Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalency.
Valid driver's license.Competencies: Knowledge and skills in the use of custodial tools and methods. Knowledge of safety guidelines. Knowledge of college policies and procedures.
