Day Custodian
Location: Loma Vista Elementary School
Number of Openings: 1
Salary: $26.13 - $32.22 per hour
Work Schedule: 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday to Friday (258 days)
Primary Function
Under general supervision, perform routine cleaning and custodial duties at a school site or district office buildings. Work closely with the site administrator to provide custodial support for daily operations, events, and special needs.
Desirable Qualifications
Knowledge of methods for cleaning and preserving floors, walls, and fixtures; proper and safe use of cleaning materials, disinfectants, and custodial equipment.
Abilities
Use cleaning materials and equipment, including heavy cleaning equipment, safely and efficiently; understand and carry out oral and written instructions; follow an assigned work schedule; establish and maintain positive working relationships with school district personnel.
Experience
Some custodial experience in a school setting is preferred.
