SUMMARY
Keeps buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties
Qualifications:

• Self-motivated, positive attitude individuals with high cleaning standards
• Must have an excellent attendance record
• Ability to sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpets, clean fixtures in restrooms, restock soap and paper products, dust and clean woodwork and furniture, clean windows, empty trash containers, etc.
• Knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations
• Good knowledge of the utilization and care of materials and equipment used
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Some weekend work required
• Must be a self-motivated individual with high cleaning standards and superior work ethic
• Must have a flexible schedule to cover all the need items on various shifts
• Must be able to work closely with Facility Reservation Coordinator to ensure proper setup is done when needed and all events are cover on all shifts
• Knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations, SDS knowledge
• Must have knowledge of the utilization and care of materials and equipment used in a cost-effective manner
• Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public
• Must be able to communicate verbally or in writing effectively with staff and public
• Must have effective cleaning methods that produce quality cleaning
• Must have experience in all areas of cleaning such as classroom, lunchroom, locker room, carpet, tile, waxing, setups, events, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Cleaning classrooms, restrooms, halls, lockers, locker rooms, gyms, offices and all other school areas
• Cleaning after special events, home sporting events and other weekend work may be required
• Assist with setup and tear down after special events, and sporting events
• Clean restrooms and restock soap, paper, and sanitary products
• Maintains building, performing minor maintenance activities
• Clean with time based standards
• Cleans debris from sidewalks as needed
• Trash pickup on grounds around buildings and field
