Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Cleans and sanitizes facilities.
- Cleans and sanitizes restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other areas.
- Sweeps, mops, vacuums, and maintains floors according to facility standards.
- Disposes of trash and recycling properly and ensures waste receptacles are emptied regularly.
- Follows safety guidelines, including using cleaning chemicals properly and handling hazardous materials according to regulations.
- Maintains outdoor areas, such as sweeping sidewalks and clearing debris.
- Maintains and manages supplies and facilities.
- Maintains and organizes cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Performs light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing minor leaks, or repairing simple facility issues.
- Locks and secures buildings as needed.
- Reports any maintenance or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Primary Attributes
Professional & Technical Knowledge:
- Possess a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate, as well as specific knowledge of administrative processes and practices, typically learned "on the job," or which may include a series of training sessions that would comprise a few weeks if done consecutively.
- Maintains current knowledge of standards of care and practices as typically acquired through continuing education.

- Prepares basic correspondence and simple reports in Microsoft Word. Uses Microsoft Excel to create tables and simple displays of information. Demonstrates proficiency with all electronic systems required for the position.
