Custodian 3Are you ready to take charge and make a difference? As a Custodian 3, you will lead assigned personnel and perform essential custodial duties. You will regularly assign tasks, provide instructions, and check the work of others to ensure high standards. You will also maintain custodial inventory and conduct training sessions. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, performing snow removal, and other custodial tasks such as emptying waste baskets, cleaning floors, dusting, and cleaning furniture.

This position is overtime eligible.Monthly Salary: $3,485 to $4,633 | Range 38 (Step A-M) | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28. In accordance with RCW , the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. For additional information, please review the detailed Summary of Benefits offered by WSU for Classified staff and Total Compensation.Required Qualifications:Physical ability to do required work and one year experience in housekeeping, janitorial, general or building maintenance, or custodial work OR one year experience as a Lead; OR equivalent education/experience.Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7.10 and departmental driving standards.Preferred Qualifications:6 months or more in depth knowledge of custodial procedures as performed in Facilities Operations.Position Sponsorship Eligibility: Not eligible for work visa sponsorshipWSU Mission:Facilities Services' primary mission is the stewardship, maintenance, and operations of the campus buildings, grounds, and utilities on the Pullman campus.
