Custodial WorkerThe Poughkeepsie City School District is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of Custodial Worker. No minimum qualifications are required. The duties include dusting furniture, washing windows and walls, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning building exteriors, and performing related work as required.
Working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment is necessary, along with the ability to understand and follow directions and get along well with others. Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of training, experience, certifications, credentials, and evaluation of service. Salary is in accordance with the CSEA contract, $44,289 - $51,892.
