Job Description:
The primary function of the Custodian is to provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient place in which to learn, play and develop.
Job Responsibilities:
- Keep assigned areas of the building and premises, including sidewalks, driveways and play areas, neat and clean at all times.
- Inspect assigned areas of the buildings daily for hazards to ensure safety and avoid property loss.
- Work cooperatively with all other school personnel and students.
- Sweep and clean areas assigned daily to the standard expected by the Head Custodian and Building Principal.
- Report immediately to the principal any damage to school property.
- Work safely and follow necessary and required procedures per MSDS and district policy when using cleaning chemicals to ensure safety
- Perform such duties as assigned by the Board of Education or its designees.
