Cultivation Technician I

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provides manual labor to support operations within the Cultivation department
• Supports the flower department with day-to-day plant maintenance tasks and sanitation responsibilities
• Performs physical, repetitive agricultural work, follows directions and takes instructions from supervisors
• Engages in repetitive climbing on a ladder or working on an elevated platform
• Netting and trellis flower plants
• Loads plants and places emitters
• Tucks and spreads plants as directed
• Prunes and defoliates plants
• Uses PPE properly in accordance with company guidelines
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, and bags any excess plant material, leaving the grow room clean after maintenance
• Clears, sanitizes, and stores all grow room tools and equipment upon use
• Performs various manual cross-department job duties as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA, and WV)
• Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
• Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• Works well in a team environment
• Attention to detail
• Cultivation experience preferred
