Job Description
Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) is recruiting Part‑Time Faculty to teach culinary arts courses in the Department of Culinary Arts. Faculty may teach in‑person, online, or hybrid courses as vacancies arise.
Responsibilities
- Teach course content and assess student learning under the supervision of the Department Chair.
- Maintain current knowledge and expertise in the culinary field.
- Refer students to supportive college resources.
- Complete professional development and use current technology.
- Adhere to standards of ethics and professional conduct.
Courses Taught
- Basic Skills Development
- Understanding Culinary Techniques
- Special Topics (as assigned)
Qualifications
- Culinary Arts degree or certification.
- Industry experience in the culinary field.
- Ability to work with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
Salary
$1,050 per credit for 100‑level and 200‑level courses; $1,150 per credit for 300‑level and 400‑level courses.
