Minimum Starting Salary: $31,250

Location: CV-TEC, Plattsburgh Campus Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2026

Position Information: Full time/10-month per year position, follows school calendar

Paid Time off: School holidays off, snow days off, 15 sick days, 4 personal leave days,

and 3 bereavement days per occurrence

Retirement System: New York State Teacher’s Retirement System (NYSTRS)

Health Insurance: 12% of premiums paid by employee. BOCES pays 88% of premium.

  • CEWW health insurance consortium is the same as 15 local school districts.

Job Qualifications

Requirements for position: NYS Teaching Assistant Certification (or ability to obtain), Minimum 3 years documented experience in the skilled trades, preferably in Construction, Electrical and/or the Automotive industry
