Radiologic TechnologistResponsible for performing Computed Tomography (CT) and general radiographic (X-ray) examinations utilizing appropriate imaging equipment. Provides direct patient care to patients of all ages while ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging. Contributes to the efficient operation of the department and supports continuity of patient care.
Assists with the clinical training and mentoring of Radiologic Technology students as needed.Key Responsibilities:Perform CT and X-ray procedures in accordance with department protocols and physician ordersEnsure accurate patient identification and proper exam preparationProvide safe, compassionate care to patients of all agesMaintain image quality and adhere to radiation safety standardsMonitor and operate imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptlyCollaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and other departments to support patient careParticipate in departmental quality improvement initiativesAssist in training and mentoring students and new staffQualifications:Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology programAssociate degree preferredARRT certification required (or registry eligible, if applicable)CT certification preferred or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframeCurrent BLS certification requiredSchedule: Overnight shift: Mon-Thurs 8pm-6:30am Includes holiday rotation as needed
